API Reinforced Concrete Square Piles are designed to conform generally with BS8004 and BS 8110 standard to ensure high product quality. API pile is manufactured under controlled procedures that complied to MS ISO 9001 and certified by SIRIM QAS Sdn Bhd.

CONSTITUENT MATERIALS:

The constituent materials for the product generally conform to the British Standards and Malaysian Standards as listed below:

(a) Cement B512 or MS 522
(b) Aggregate B5 822
(c) Admixture BS 5075
(d) Steel Reinforcement BS 4449 or MS 146
(e) Mild Steel Plate JIS G3101 SS 400 or BS4360
Grade 43A

CAPACITY OF PILE:

Safe working load of API piles is calculated in accordance with BS 8004, CP 116
and MS 1314

Where fcu = Characteristic cube strength of concrete at 28 days
    = 45N/mm2
  Ac = area of concrete
  Fsc = 175 N/mm2 for High Yield Reinforcement
